About Lee

The Mangold Family Lee, Erin, Alyson, and EmmaLee Mangold is a Central Florida native and a progressive Democrat. Over the course of his life, he has watched the area evolve from orange groves and single lane streets to the cities and highways we see today. Lee spent 14 years working as a government contractor developing training systems and cybersecurity technologies for the Army, Air Force, DHS, and other government agencies. He earned his Doctorate in Computer and Information Security, owns a Central Florida based cybersecurity company, is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, and manages and participates in multiple non-profit organizations.

Lee will bring rational thinking and scientific rigor to the state legislature. Legislation should be created based on fact, not on ideas. Lee will use his background in scientific research to make informed decisions on various issues important to the District, including:

  • Strong and Affordable Public Education
  • Equal Rights for All
  • Creating Jobs & Protecting Workers
  • Renewable and Sustainable Energy
  • Responsible Gun Ownership
  • The Right to Choose
  • Common Sense Drug Enforcement
  • Environmental Protection
  • Affordable and Accessible Medical Care
  • Cybersecurity and Defense

We Floridians are a diverse collection of people and businesses - not numbers. Lee vows to represent his constituents in District 28 in a manner that ensures we are building a better government that supports the people. Read more about some of the issues important to Lee.

    Canvassing for Lee

When: Saturday, November 04, 2017 at 09:00 AM

Join Lee and the campaign team for a November canvassing event!

If you've never done this before, that's no problem! We're out to make friends and meet the community! Just bring a smile and maybe some sunscreen...we'll provide the rest.

9:00 - Lee Mangold to give a brief presentation
9:15 - Break into groups for some canvassing training
9:30 - Hit the streets and get some petitions signed!

Additional Directions: Legacy Park is a neighborhood off of Lake Drive in Casselberry. We will be meeting at the park in the middle of the neighborhood, next to the pool, just off of Legacy Park Drive.

For those afraid of canvassing: We totally understand! But, give it a shot and I'm sure you'll realize how fun and non-intimidating it really is. We're doing this for a good cause; we're not looking for money; we're just looking for support and to get the name out there.

    Let's make a difference in District 28!
