A Message From Dr. Lee Mangold:
I want to thank you for helping to make our 2020 Campaign Kickoff a success. I celebrated my birthday on May 8th by officially announcing my intent to run for State Representative for House District 28. I was joined by about 70 of my family, friends, supporters, and campaign team. The next day, my team and I made it out to the monthly SemDems general meeting, where I spoke to the Seminole County Demoratic Party. It was a great launch, and I am looking forward to continuing the momentum through 2020! If you missed the launch, you can catch the video here: SemDems Announcement Video
During the months of May and June, we will focus on gathering petitions. Please join us for one or more of the events! Petitions must be collected each election cycle, and we must collect valid petitions from 1% of the registered voters in House District 28. This allows us to avoid paying qualifying fees, which means more funds freed to reach members of our community!
We need volunteers to host tabling events, petition at libraries, and assist with other work.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:
We have opportunities for students who would like to earn Bright Futures Scholars volunteer hours. Areas we need help are: writing postcards, gathering petitions, filming social media content, and data entry. Hours are flexible for dependable and committed students.
High school students should email [email protected] for more information! All other volunteers should sign up here.
Introduce Lee to Your Friends!
We are looking for hosts for future meet and greets. Small events are one of the best ways for Lee to get to know the voters in House District 28. When supporters invite friends to come to a small gathering, they get to learn about Lee’s values and goals for representing our district. You can host a gathering at your house or meet-up at a local venue!
